PPG Fabrications cause a stir at Harrogate with the first public showing at the Tippex show of an insulated body with the new HDR floor. The new floor design utilises a harder grade of aluminium than previously seen in the UK market. In addition to wear and impact resistance benefits, the new design provides increased tip stability from the lower tip height requirement and increased speed of discharge. The new floor innovation is available across the PPG range of bodies and succesfully trialed with several major hauliers. Watch this space for further developments.
